Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?

Updated: Dec 13, 2021

If you are one of the many people that are going to celebrate bringing in the new year, plan ahead. Whether you are going for a casual look or all out glam, start thinking about your attire now. I played dress up to give some ideas about how to style ensembles for the festive occasion.

Look 1: I styled a tank top with a floor length tulle skirt, faux fur shrug, tear drop earrings, tear drop necklace, and bracelet. I wanted to keep the makeup natural but with a little color. I used three eye shadows. All over the eye, I used a neutral color, in the crease of the eyes, I used a gold eye shadow that has a touch of shine, on the brow bone, I used a copper color. To finish the eyes, I added brown mascara and a dark chocolate eye liner. For the cheeks, I chose a neutral brown tone, for the lips, chestnut lip liner and a neutral brown tone lipstick. When it is applied, it gives a pop of color to the lip. This entire look is giving me "Old Hollywood Glam."

Look 2: This is a full-on glam look. If you are feeling bold and want to standout, then this is the look for you. A gold sequin dress with floral accents. The bold and vibrant colors display elegance at its best. Since there is a lot of details on the dress, I kept the jewelry simple. Only adding tear drop earrings and an ankle strap sandal to complete the look. I stepped up the glam in the makeup department to compliment the style of the dress. I added a little color to the eyes. All over the eyes, I used gold eye shadow, in the crease of the eye, I chose a blue green color, brown mascara and dark chocolate eye liner. For the lips. chestnut lip liner and a neutral brown tone lipstick. This look is definitely a showstopper.

Look 3: I paired a faux black leather double layered blouse with a floral print belted high-low double-layered skirt. For the accessories, I included a pink floral necklace with gold accents, a red ankle strap kitten heel shoe, and a black clutch purse. Simple but chic look for the holiday. The skirt gives off a festive vibe.
